Operated by the La Providencia Guild
Welcome to the official website of the La Providencia Guild. We hope the information on this site will introduce you to our Guild and more importantly, expose you to the work and research of the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
La Providencia Guild is one of 26 Associate and Affiliate members with the Children's Hospital Los Angeles and is governed by the Associates & Affiliates Office at the Hospital. Our members are all volunteers with one purpose in mind, to support the services and research of the Hospital. This year, our support goes to the The Associates Endowed Chair for the Chief of the Division for Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolism, and the Associates Endowment for Chief, Hepatobiliary ad Pancreatic Surgery, and Abdominal Organ Transplantation. The La Providencia Guild started in Burbank in 1947 and recently celebrated its 75th birthday! Our biggest fundraiser for the Hospital is the La Providencia Guild Thrift Shop, located at 3301 W. Burbank Blvd. in Burbank. Our 122 Guild members, volunteer their time and resources to keep the shop open. We are also grateful to our many generous donors from around the Los Angeles area, who donate to the Thrift Shop. If you would like to help, click the "Donate" button and thank you for your generous spirit of giving!
